15.03.2011 What happened since the last update on kinoart.net ...

The Genre/Special interest search is about to finalize – with almost every title categorized.

Larger images have been and are still being uploaded – about 1000 online already.

The sorting of movie-titles was reworked (US title, Original and German) and prices on some titles reduced!

3.12.2010 The new kinoart.net - site is online!

A quick list of the most significant changes and some notes:

German/English language separation for the whole site (button upper right). This affects the display by Title (US/Original Title, the German if different is not shown), Item specifics, Size, Price in Euro or $, Texts in general.
3 Categories for which random examples are shown in the columns at border: New, Highlights and Sale (with a changing selection of reduced posters)
Shopping List: similar to a Cart, also to be used as contact form.
Quick search: Always displayed upper right.
New search options under Genre/Special Interest. Please note I am still working on allocating these to the films list, so the search results are far from complete here yet!
An Item Detail View with additional info. From here you can also add an item to the shopping list. Names and Genres can also be clicked on here for a quick search.
Larger Item images (more will be uploaded constantly)
If you click on an item a list with all others for that film is automatically shown.
The site should be quicker in general and with all queries. (based on html, no intern database structure as before)
And last but not least: Approx. 500 new acquisitions (450 under New) since last update in July are online.
